A set of three organic decorative vases in handmade stoneware ceramics, wheel-thrown in Fernando Durao's workshop in Buenos Aires. Forms that narrow and widen naturally — irregular curves that the wheel builds without prior planning, following the logic of the material. These are modern studio ceramic vases that come closer to sculpture than to any conventional decorative object. No molds, no series, never restocked.
The surface is worked with a black glaze of my own formula, fired at 1200°C (2192°F). The matte black accentuates the organic quality of each form — the curves read more clearly against black than against any other color. They are design objects with a strong sculptural presence, ideal for minimalist decor where a single object defines the space.
